Ever since I could walk and talk I was passionate about fish and the industry, spending any free time I could going to work with dad.

Every school holiday or long weekend I would be up and out of my bed in time to go to the market in Fraserburgh with my Dad. I used to be more interested in going to look at the fish than playing with my friend's.

As I got slightly older I used to help out when I could after school and at the weekends, learning as much as possible before I went to secondary school.

At the age of just 15 I was officially able to leave school, I went to work as a labourer full time doing 12 hour shifts. I learnt the job day in day out trying everything from fish packing to filleting and making sure the orders went out.

I have always taken pride in what I do, as growing up I quickly realised that only the best will do.

When the pandemic came along in 2020 I was only 19 years old, my Dad decided to take a big step back for me to get the opportunity to step up, get a better understanding of the job from his side and for us to have an equal role as partners in the business.

This was terrifying at the time as I was so young with a lot of pressure on my shoulders but it wasn't long and I had taken to it like a duck to water.

Fast forward to today we are growing day in day out and thriving more every single week, still ensuring that the number one rule is being met, quality and value for money. That to me is the main goal.
